Releasing Our Fears
By Peggy Sealfon
Fear is paralyzing and unproductive. Once essential for self-preservation in a world of predators, fear has become rather destructive and obsolete. So how do we let go of our fears ? How can we move past them? The first step is awareness. Some people blindly stumble through life without even a slight recognition that they’re not living to their full potential. Fear causes tension and transforms into energetic blockages. Often it takes a major crisis to force us to look within and face our fears. Many of these fears are planted unknowingly from exposure to belief systems from the prevailing culture through parents, teachers, friends, spouses. These seeds of thought find root in our minds and bodies and begin to grow relentlessly until we learn how to dismantle them, how to pause for a moment, be silent, and see the truth.
What is your biggest fear? Many of us experience fears of unworthiness, of not being enough, of not having enough, of not being smart enough or not being a good enough parent, or not being good looking enough or loved enough and these beliefs permeate every movement and impacts every part of our lives. Often these fears can so thoroughly dominate our consciousness as to cause us to accept limitations, and result in imbalances and eventually illnesses, sometimes chronic.
World-renowned Yogi Master Gurudev Amrit Desai refers to these fears as “preprogramming” that create reactive behavior in present situations that may have little to do with the current experience. Thus we create an unreality, an illusion. Tony Robbins calls these “stories.” Abraham Hicks calls them “vibrational frequencies. “ It doesn’t matter what they are called. What matters is that you can release them. Yogi Desai’s approach is to drop into levels of stillness that allows these energies to be released in a quantum way. By being in deep relaxation, those preprogrammed thoughts are reduced in power as we let go into the universal flow of energies and thus enter a sacred place for restoration, renewal and revitalization. The fears, the anxieties fade as we consistently give ourselves permission to drop effortlessly into the gap between our thoughts through Quantum Meditation, or Yoga Nidra or Amrit Yoga. We enter a state of integration where mind and body merge and melt together and we connect to our highest self, our authentic self.
Tony Robbin’s approach is to simply change the story. Whatever belief isn’t serving us, change it. Face the fears head on. We can write them down, say them aloud and then change them. In this way we can state the opposite of what’s holding us back and give power to this positive change by embracing it with exclamations of ”Yes!” “Yes!” “Yes! Abraham Hicks reaffirms the impact of these approaches through the Law of Attraction. If our belief system guides us to accept that we’ll never have enough, that’s the vibrational frequency we attract to ourselves. So by changing that thought, we can raise the frequency and attract abundance. Compassion, gratitude and love are strong energies for changing, and raising, the vibrational frequency. So how would you apply this in your life? Let’s say, you just lost your job and you’re fearful about how you will make a living. Notice first your reaction to losing the job. Did you feel it was inevitable? That you deserved to be jobless?. You can change those thoughts and change the fear. When you awake in the morning, replace any feeling of anxiety with one of gratitude for what you do have. Trust and surrender to what is so that you may relax enough to be able to access new solutions. And even be grateful that you lost your job because it provides you with a totally new slate, a fresh opportunity to explore a different part of yourself , to face a challenge and transcend it, to search greater horizons and perhaps engage in a passion you have neglected. At the end of the day, the only fear holding you back is of your own making. So isn’t it time to let go…and just be all that you are?
So, what “are” you? In the true light of consciousness, we are vibrations of pure love. We are born as divine creatures of love and that is our essence. Anyone who has ever had a near-death experience can tell you of the luminous white light of unconditional love they entered for that moment. When we pause to enter an integrated state of being, merging mind and body, we reconnect with that “knowing,” that truth. Open your mind, open your heart and shift from thinking and doing to just feeling and being. Feel the joy that resides within you. Reactivate the beginner’s mind so you can live your life with unbrindled enthusiasm and awe. When you discover the ease of life’s flow while in this “zone,” you will have revealed for yourself the true secrets of the ancient yogis. Be present in your life, and enjoy the play, the adventure, the light. When you do, magic will happen. Jai Bhagwan (I honor the light within you).

The Old Paradigm Is Dead–Happy Holidays!
by Peggy Sealfon
If we truly wish to be the change we want to see in the world, we need to make conscious choices. For 20 years, I’ve had a marketing company/advertising agency and have always focused on the competition and how to outpace, outmaneuver, outthink the “other guy.” The motto was “Crush the competition.” Bathing in the energies of the new shift of consciousness, I now recognize a sudden absence of competition. In the light of today, I see how important cooperation replaces competition. It’s no longer about what you have, it’s about what you share–whether it be basics of food and shelter or emotional support, compassion, joy, understanding, or business connections. More than ever, I understand how we are each a thread in the tapestry of life and without the color and texture of each of us, the fabric falls apart. We need each other. We are together on this planet. We are one global interwoven creation!
I know it’s easy to give lip service to these concepts and they have a Pollyanna-ish edge to them. So I have consciously worked towards walking the walk and being more of an example of how life and business can be in this new paradigm. Sometimes it has not been easy as I still feel remnants of the old ways which cause knee-jerk reactions. When someone recently “stole” my exact words in promotion of a new healing modality, I felt violated and annoyed. When I noticed my reaction, I stopped and thought “There’s plenty for everyone. I should feel flattered at the compliment of having my words copied.” And in that moment I shifted. I relaxed. I let go of fear and the mentality of lack. There is abundance.
Another example: I’ve been asked to bring yoga to a new facility opening in my area. I’m certified in Amrit Yoga, trained by world-renowned Yogi Master Gurudev Amrit Desai. I could have coveted this opportunity and kept it secreted for my own personal gain. However I know a few other certified Amrit Yoga teachers in my area and instead I chose to open the door for them to teach in this new studio as well. Competition ceases to exist. Our efforts are amplified by working together. We help each other and we build more awareness about these life-changing teachings. It benefits more and serves our community beyond what any one of us could achieve.
My intention is to support a new business model from this moment forward. I embrace one in which we are not destroying our competition and clutching to all that we can for self-centered purposes but instead are helping one another to build better friendships, a better life, a better world. In the process we surrender to what is and let go of the fear of not having enough. As we reflect deeply inside ourselves, we know we have enough.
IN RELATIONSHIPS
The new way of thinking even filters into relationships. A good friend was irritated by another woman’s behavior recently and solicited my opinion on the situation. My friend was attempting to recruit me to see her perspective of how rude this other woman had been. I chose not to judge. I explained that I understand my friend’s truth and that this bothered her but I did not wish to respond in the same way. My friend became infuriated that I could not see her side of the situation. I explained very carefully that I did see that she was irritated but that I was choosing not to judge and instead wished to accept the other woman as she is. In choosing neither for nor against, I was running the risk of losing my friend’s trust in me because she was desperate for me to confirm her feelings. But I chose not to endorse her truth and instead hoped to show her a new way of being. My preference is for choosing acceptance. We cannot change another person but we can change our reactions and let go of anxiety and fear. I was letting go. It worked. The result creates harmony where before there is conflict. The result generates peace in place of anger and distress. The result is love.
As we move deeper into basking in the new vibrational energies on our planet, we are experiencing a collapse of many of the old methodologies which have been built upon greed and fear. In the new paradigm, we can appreciate our true divine selves and see the light in each other. As 2011 draws to a close, I choose gratitude and appreciation for the gifts and talents of so many people I know. I feel privileged to be on the planet at this dramatically transitory time. I celebrate the moment. I hope you do, too. I wish you light and love during this holiday season!
The Power of Being in Stillness
It was a lovely temperate Saturday evening in Naples, Florida accented with a subtle breeze, which was both a welcomed change from the daytime deluge of rain and a relief since the 1st Zero Stress Zone Flash Mob was about to take place outdoors. I was driving into Mercato, a bustling open-air center studded with restaurants, bars, retail shops, and diverse entertainment. As I entered, I couldn’t help but notice a man wearing Lederhosen, a woman dressed as a devil her hair topped in red feathers, another person whose face was painted like a skeleton, another man stumbling in spiky high heels wearing knee socks and a short plaid skirt. My mind spun and then remembered that Halloween was just days away. I parked quickly and hurried to the area for the “Flash Mob” meditation. But how would our event play out in the midst of this costumed frivolity? Shakespeare’s “All the world’s a stage…” bubbled into my thoughts.
I was unsure how our plan would unfold and I felt both excited and slightly nervous wondering if anyone would actually show up to participate. Carmelo, an artist-friend who had helped create the idea during one of our monthly Full Moon Quantum Meditations, had already texted me that he was delayed at the Miami Airport and probably wouldn’t make it. As I approached the designated spot with ten minutes to spare, I started videotaping a few snippets of the busy scene that we would soon converge onto…hopefully. Outdoor diners were packed into Bravo’s, an Italian Restaurant, enjoying the food and ambiance. Our special place was adjacent in clear view and definitely in earshot. We were all to sit around or across from an exquisite banyan tree; nature would help ground us for the experience.
The idea of the Zero Stress Zone Flash Mob is to bring stillness into the chaotic, noisy environment of a seasonal weekend night on the town. We purposely selected a high-traffic area to show by example that stillness can be achieved effortlessly and that calmness allows a chance to retreat from external circumstances and provide a connection to each other and to source. The intention is to show stillness in the midst of activity and, through the ability to drop into a personal place of stillness in a “mob”, to touch others. It’s an experiment. It’s not any political statement. It’s not “for” or “against.” It’s just about “being” and through our silence, it’s about spreading love…energetically. But was it possible? Would the silence of the group be pervasive or would it get lost in the lights, cars, honking horns, clanking dinner plates, yelling of children, and general din of an outdoor gathering place? Would there even be a group or would it just be me soloing with an intention and a video camera! I was working at relaxing with what is. Whatever would present itself would be a learning experience. But I admit I felt a huge sigh of relief as participants began trickling in and sliding into places on the concrete, built-in benches. The event was happening.
As planned, at 7:33 PM I gonged a Tibetan Singing Bowl to announce the time for meditation had arrived. We had an intimate group of people who immediately sat totally still, closed their eyes and disappeared into a peaceful space. Passersby stopped to gawk and wonder; some quieting friends as they strolled by. As I moved into the walkway in the midst of the “mob” to begin videotaping, strikingly unusual sensations manifested for me. Even with my concentration
on capturing the experience on video, I began to FEEL the effects of meditation. I was overcome with a sense of joy. I could FEEL the silence even in spite of all the external noises. I could FEEL a deep sense of love filling the air, touching my heart. The energy was palpable and powerful. It was exhilarating. I was stunned that this small group could have such an overwhelming presence and such an immediate impact. Frankly, it was uncanny.
The original plan was to meditate for 15 minutes, at which time I would initiate another series of gongs, and then everyone would disperse without any dialogue. We would all just slip away into the night. Stillness transforming into the silence of disappearing, blending into the flow of the evening. But when the meditation ended, everyone was so amazed by the experience that none of us could resist staying on and sharing our thoughts. Some of us had just met and yet we were all instant friends, with a thrilling sense of connectedness, camaraderie, and gratitude as if we had all just synchonistically floated up on an island filled with beauty and abundance.
Several expressed that they had felt self conscious at first, concerned about whether or not they could really meditate in the midst of crowds. Yet after just a few moments, all were equally impressed at how they surrendered to the silence of their own experience and the loud noises of the surroundings seemed to soften and become more and more distant. The hubbub evaporated in their field of awareness. Together the group created a dramatic respite from all the commotion, a hushed zone of peace, quiet, balance and harmony. Onlookers could feel the distinct shift and many were affected. Some took pictures. Some became quieter as they observed us. Afterwards several people were curious and stopped to ask questions about what we were doing.
Research has clearly proven the benefits of meditation both physiologically and psychologically. But for most practitioners, meditation is something observed in privacy. Bringing this experience out into a public arena was frought with unknowns and yet the power of being in stillness prevailed. It was an evening of discovery, empowerment, understanding and love. In fact, it was such a remarkable event that we are already planning another one in a surprise location! Stay tuned. (Here’s a look at a brief video of the 1st Zero Stress Zone Flash Mob:

Can Sound Heal?
by Peggy Sealfon
Researchers and scientists are coming together to recognize the positive impact sound has on living beings. In an article by John Stuart Reid and Annaliese Kohinoor, they have concluded that “sound has the almost magical power of restoring order to organisms that are malfunctioning..”
Sound Healing is based on the science that all matter is vibrating at specific frequencies and that sound, or vibration, has a strong impact upon substance. For example, Cymatics, the study of visible sound and vibration, has shown how sound creates geometric patterns in matter. Japanese entrepreneur Dr. Masaru Emoto is well-known for providing documented proof that sound changes the molecular structure of water. However, more importantly, sound changes consciousness. Many ancient civilizations and modern indigenous cultures have used sound to heal and access higher levels of consciousness for thousands of years.
Reid and Kohinoor point out that: “The Aboriginal people of Australia are the first known culture to heal with sound. Their ‘yidaki’ (modern name, didgeridoo) has been used as a healing tool for at least 40,000 years. The Aborigines healed broken bones, muscle tears and illnesses of every kind using their enigmatic musical instrument. Interestingly, the sounds emitted by the yidaki are in alignment with modern sound healing technology. It is becoming apparent that the wisdom of the ancients was based on ‘sound’ principles.”
When he delved into research, Dr. Mitchell Gaynor (a medical oncologist) found that people worldwide-including Sufis, Hindus, Native Americans, and Catholic monks- have long relied on sound to heal, and while their practices differ the principle is the same. Gaynor explains it this way: There is “a tendency toward harmony in nature. Consider the example of two metronomes in the same room beating at different rhythms. Eventually, of their own accord, they will begin to beat in synchrony with each other.”
The human body seeks harmony, too, scientific studies show. “If we accept that sound is vibration, and we know that vibration touches every part of our physical being, then we understand that sound is “heard” not only through our ears but through every cell in our body,” writes Gaynor, who reminds us that the human body is 90 percent water-the perfect medium for carrying sound.
Technological sound healing devices first appeared in 1928 when German scientist Erwin Schliephake discovered that sound accelerated healing. He created an acoustic device known as the Novasonic .Even earlier Dr. Royal Rife believed he had identified the cause of cancer in humans. He believed that a cancer virus existed and that it could be cured with a frequency of electromagnetic energy. This frequency would cause the cancer cells to self destruct and created a device to generate this frequency. Studies at the University of California in 1934 were conducted by a team of doctors and pathologists to test the technology. Sixteen terminally ill cancer patients were treated with Rife machines. In three months, they were examined. Fourteen of them, it is reported, were determined to be cured. The treatment of the other two was adjusted and within the next four weeks, it has been reported, the other two were also declared cured.
In the 1930s, acoustic researchers discovered the medical properties of ultrasound. And in more recent years, the benefits of ultrasound have been seen in pulverizing kidney stones, gallstones and even shrinking tumors.
Much more recently, the science of sound healing was identified by French researcher Dr. Alfred A. Tomatis in his 1991 book Pourquoi Mozart? (Why Mozart?) where he discusses the use of the music of Mozart in his efforts to “retrain” the ear. He believed that listening to the music presented at differing frequencies helped the ear, and promoted healing and the development of the brain. Rauscher, Shaw, and Ky in a 1993 study claim “that there are patterns of neurons that fire in sequences, and that there appear to be pre-existing sites in the brain that respond to specific frequencies.”
Another study by Dr. James Gimzewski, of UCLA, California, has revealed that every cell in our bodies has a unique sonic signature and ‘sings’ to its neighbors and that sound is created by vibrations.
Fabien Maman, one of the world’s leading experts on vibrational sound healing, conducted a biology experiment in the early 80s at the University of Jussieu in Paris, showing the impacts of acoustic sound on human cells and their energy fields. He found that through a series of acoustic sounds, cancer cells would explode and healthy cells would become energized and empowered. He conducted experiments with two breast cancer patients, each of whom toned for several hours a day over the course of a month. In the first patient the tumor vanished completely. The second woman had surgery to remove the tumor, whereupon it was discovered that the tumor was reduced and completely dry. In the absence of metastases, the malignancy was excised and the patient made a full recovery. Two cases. Two complete recoveries from breast cancer.
Dr. Deforia Lane, Director of Music Therapy at University Hospitals of Cleveland has shown how music has been shown to affect portions of the brain. Lane has said “It can help reduce pain, it can help increase the communication between people help relax the body, but also the opposite energize it.” In a study done at Baltimore’s St. Agnes Hospital. it was found that playing classical music in the critical care units reduced the need for medicine to control pain dramatically. One doctor stated, “Half an hour of music produced the same effects as ten milligrams of Valium.”
• Reduced Blood Pressure
• Reduced Heart and Respiration Rates
• Reduced Depression
• Reduced Migraines
• Reduced Pain
• Increased Oxygen Intake
• Increased Weight Gain in Premature Babies

Baking Soda: Amazing Uses
by Peggy Sealfon
21 USES FOR BAKING SODA you might not have known about!
Baking soda, known as bicarbonate of soda, has more uses in the home than imaginable and it’s safer and cheaper than commercially-available products for many of these applications. Surely somewhere in your home, you have a box of this leavening agent commonly used in baking. Many people know it absorbs odors and will use it to keep refrigerators fresh. But did you know you can use it for cleaning and healing? Here are suggestions:
1. Mix a half teaspoon with peroxide paste and use it as toothpaste. It gets rid of stains and really cleans your breath.
2. An antacid. You can also use it to maintain an alkaline balance in your system. Just a half teaspoon can do it.
3. Face & body scrub. Wet a wash cloth and just add a sprinkle baking soda.
4. Underarm deodorant. Use it like a powder puff.
5. Relieve itch and burn of insect bites. Mix with water to make a paste and apply. Can draw out poisons.
6. Sprinkle in boots and shoes to absorb odors.
7. Add some to a vase of fresh cut flowers to keep the flowers lasting longer.
8. Sprinkle it around the perimeter of a room to repel ants, waterbugs, cockroaches.
9. Wash fruits and vegetables with it.
10. Get out carpet stains. Mix with water, make a paste and rub it into stains. let dry and then vaccuum. (Experiment first to make sure it doesn’t change colors of carpet)
11. Use it to scrub sinks, showers, tubs, porcelain surfaces. Also removes grease from pots, pans and barbecue grills.
12. Add a cup to the toilet and leave for an hour. Then flush. It will clean and deodorize.

The Path to Happiness
by Peggy Sealfon
Think about how you feel when you’ve been fully absorbed in an activity–whether it’s cooking or playing a sport or performing or making something. When you’re completely immersed in doing whatever it is, doesn’t it feel as if you’ve lost your sense of time? You feel relaxed and calm and productive. It is at this moment that you are totally present and your mind and body are integrated. This integration creates a flow that feels effortless and joyful. Life can be like this ALL the time not just in fleeting experiences. I certainly would have benefitted from this knowledge years ago.
By focusing totally on whatever you choose to do at any given moment in your day–whether it is brushing your teeth or conversing with your boss or driving to an appointment–you can connect with this harmonious feeling of oneness within yourself. Happiness begins when you relax and accept what is with awareness and clarity. You may actually find that you become more sensitized. You may see and feel things that are quite profound and beautiful where before you didn’t take the time to notice: the tweets of the birds or the feeling of the outside air brushing across your cheeks or even the unusual pattern created by the spilled wine on your carpet.
From my trainings with Yogi Desai, I’ve learned how to let go and let things happen rather than struggling to make them happen. I’ve been able to enter the “zone” where life is more of a glowingly joyful path even in the light of everyday and global challenges.
The Dangers of Geopathic Stress
by Peggy Sealfon
- Are you aware of the effects of electric and magnetic fields (EMFs) on your health?
- Do you know of the potential health risks from using cellular and cordless phones?
There are controversial and contradictory findings in scientific research surrounding the detrimental health effects of living close to hydro poles, cell phone towers and underground power lines as well as with cell phone use. Yet studies cannot rule out the potential health risks. Studies, of 40 years, have shown a connection linking electromagnetic radiation to childhood and adult cancers and neurological diseases.
The production of EMFs are associated with the generation, transmission and use of electricity. People are exposed to these fields not only when they are near high voltage lines, but also at their places of work and in their homes. Such fields are produced by distribution lines, transformers, building and house wiring and by all devices that use electric power. Computers, cellphones and even household appliances can be culprits.
UNDERSTANDING GEOPATHIC STRESS
Just when you thought you understood the meaning of stress and tension, along comes another major concept of stress that can cause illness, chronic fatigue, insomnia, and more. According to Rolf Gordon who coined the phrase, Geopathic Stress “is the only common factor in most serious and long term illnesses and psychological conditions.” So what is it? Geopathic Stress, or harmful earth rays, can result from natural radiation which rises up through the earth and is distorted by weak electro-magnetic fields created by subterranean (underground) running water, certain mineral concentrations, fault lines and underground cavities. The natural radiation, disturbed in this way becomes harmful to living organisms (including animals and plants!) Geopathic Stress can also result from electro-magnetic fields caused by electrical wiring, lighting, appliances (including computers, TVs, microwaves, clocks, radios), telephones (especially cellular phones), and from outside sources such as electric generators and transformers. This includes electromagnetic fields from radon gas, vehicle fumes, pesticides and additives in food and drinks. There are some basic options for protecting yourself but awareness is the first step. Cellphones, for instance, can be fitted with a device that helps block the EMFs. And there are options that may help reduce the harmful effects once Geopathic Stress has impacted water, foods, etc.
One that I’ve been using personally is the Energy Laser. I did my own experiment with a blood test before and after using the laser device on a glass of water and I was impressed at the change in my blood quality. At the time, I had a tooth abscess. The first test showed my blood in a stacking rouleau effect which prevents bloods cells from getting enough oxygen which can seriously compromise the immune system. I wasn’t totally surprised because of the infection I had in my body. But I ran the specially developed Energy Laser light over the water, drank it and re-tested my blood. The difference was stunning. My blood had changed in just 30 minutes and was flowing the way it is supposed for optimum wellness. You can read more here.

An Ancient Science for Eating Healthy
Considered one of the oldest healing sciences, Ayuveda dates back 5,000 years to India and is becoming more popular in the West. In Western medicine, we treat diseases but there is little emphasis or education about prevention. The basic principle of Ayurveda is to prevent illness by maintaining balance in the body, mind, and consciousness through proper drinking, diet, and lifestyle.
According to Ayurvedic beliefs, each person has a distinct pattern of energy — a specific combination of physical, mental, and emotional characteristics. It is also believed that there are three basic energy types called doshas, present in every person. Everyone has vata, pitta, and kapha, but usually 1 or 2 are dominant in a particular person. Many things can disturb the energy balance, such as stress, an unhealthy diet, the weather, and strained family relationships. The disturbance shows up as disease. Ayurvedic practitioners prescribe treatments to bring the doshas back into balance.
If you’d like to know your dosha, there are a number of tests available online. Email me and I’ll send you the links. Peggy@StoneaterStudio.com But even without knowing your dosha, there are a few basic concepts anyone can apply from Ayuvedics to their lives for improved well being.
* Eat fresh, local produce, grown organically
* Eat in a settled environment and sit down to eat
* Only eat when you’re hungry (some dosha types should NOT have breakfast)
* Stay away from icy cold drinks which decrease digestive fire
* Lunch is the most important meal of the day when your digestive fire is the highest
* Don’t eat leftovers
* At each meal, eat an amount that would fit in both hands and not more.
* Stay still and silent after eating for improved digestion. Then take a walk.
Cleansing Therapeutic Gemstones
by Peggy Sealfon
Since gemstones are vibrational energy, they can be affected by energetic impurities that they are intended to release. These unbalanced energies can be assimilated by gemstones as they are handled, shipped and used daily. To clear these disharmonious energies and restore therapeutic gemstones to peak performance, cleanse gemstones regularly so they may serve at their highest capacity.
METHODS TO USE:
- Smudging: This is my favorite and most preferred technique because it is the safest for all gemstones. I use sage because I like the scent and I often use it to “smudge” my entire home. You can also use sweet grass, cedar or incense. Pass the gemstones through the wafting smoke. I watch the smoke curling around the gemstones and when the smoke shifts, I know the gemstones are cleansed.
- Salt Water: Use a teaspoon of Sea Salt in a glass bowl of cool water. Place the gemstones in the water making sure they’re covered. Allow them to soak for 24 hours to rejuvenate and restore them. This procedure washes off negative energies and recharges them with healing energy activating the gemstones essential qualities. PLEASE NOTE: Certain gemstones that are softer Mica and crystalline are too fragile and can be damaged by cleansing in salt water. The stones you should NOT treat this way include Calcite, Carnelian, Labradorite, Lepidolite, Moldavite, Opal, Turquoise, Ulexite.
- Plant Rejuvenation: Place your gemstone jewelry at the base or on the branches of a healthy houseplant. The plant’s living energy field transmutes and clears any disharmonious energies and replenish balance. For a deeper cleansing, place your jewelry outside in underneath or on branches of healthy shrubs or trees
- Flower Water: Soak your gemstones in flower water made with the petals of flowers such as rose, honeysuckle, orange blossoms for 24 hours to remove all negative energies. However do NOT use this technique for softer Mica and crystalline stones as mentioned for the Salt Water technique. In the case of more fragile gemstones, fill a bowl with rose petals instead and place your jewelry on the bed of petals.

Why Choose Organic?
Organic foods are simply better for your health. They taste better and science does tell us that organic foods have higher levels of vitamins, minerals and beneficial nutrients than conventional foods. A few years ago when I tried my first organically-grown peach, I was quite stunned. The experience in my taste buds swept me back in a warped speed of recognition to my childhood. It was an “ah-ha” moment of remembering how a peach should really taste! Over time, many of us have been conditioned to accept the taste and lack of content of conventionally-grown foods without realizing that we might just be missing something!
It only makes sense that food grown in soil that has been nourished and cared for is more nutritious and will end up tasting better. Infiltration of pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers and other soluable chemicals into surface and groundwater is a major source of concern all across North America for conventionally-grown produce. These dangerous synthetic chemicals are found in many cases in significant concentrations even in water supplies now being consumed by millions of people. So supporting organic farming is heathier for our environment…and us.
More Expensive? Let’s not be penny wise and pound foolish. By consuming more organic foods, you will ultimately consume less because the nutritional value is so much more satisfying. Thus over a year’s time, you could actually save money on your grocery bills! Furthermore, by nourishing your body with healthier foods you will potentially avoid illnesses and doctor’s bills. If given a choice, I take organic foods every time.
